The eye-catching trademark on the packaging can immediately play a role in attracting consumers. The change in the material of gift boxes has also attracted people's attention. The porcelain gifts exported from Shandong are ingeniously packaged in portable cases made of corn husks, which not only makes full use of the surplus rural labor force, but also makes a large number of local cheap materials become folk characteristics and elegant handicraft packaging, which is more artistic than ordinary carton packaging. The famous "silk bunny" food in Sichuan was originally packaged in red rectangular paper boxes and woven into exquisite cylindrical containers with thin bamboo strips. It is unique and beautiful, forming an unforgettable impression.
The main responsibility of design art is to give form to the content. Without innovation, it has no influence. Once upon a time, I thought that design art must be shown to others. Later, I felt that it was more a kind of self cultivation. Through visual language, I can make my own voice. I know that the so-called "cultivation" should also be shown to others, otherwise, Why do you always try to cultivate better?
The so-called "design art" often complicates simple things and simplifies complex things; Make abstract things concrete and abstract concrete things; Obscuration of clear concepts and clarification of obscure concepts are called "art" in the form and expression mixed in these things, but ultimately I think all these actions are for the needs of people's mind and body.
Of course, it is not easy to do a good job in design. It should not only be tempered by years, but also have patience and down-to-earth professionalism. To become a good designer, you need to have multiple backgrounds and the quality of single proficiency, because doing design without innovation and just repeating can degenerate into craftsmen. If the design can not reach the level of art, it is only craftsmanship. The pursuit of innovation is only to show personal talent, but not cultural quality. The results will be limited. If there is no culture to feel something, it is just a simple thing, and if you just pursue culture, it is simple and meaningless. Therefore, I think only the concept of "new" or "culture" beyond the simple level is the real pursuit of designers.
In design creativity, sometimes I often face some boring and boring elements, and I often turn these boring elements into interesting design semantics. Or it is this boring integration that inspires me to create a design with unique value. Although masterpieces are always rare in people's life, when they finish a design work, they feel that the good work that seems to be about to be finished has not yet come out. Perhaps it is this far from completion and cultivation mentality that drives them to constantly pursue and surpass themselves.
The ancients said: life is like a fleeting horse. It is not easy to walk through more than 30 years of design. Recalling that it was an era of endless creativity, the scenery was accompanied by pressure, and people were always breathless. Looking back at the tracks that left emotions and behaviors, I had no reason not to show my thoughts, my thoughts, my understanding and my own design works. Therefore, I came up with a book that has as much design ideas as possible but is not obscure. It reveals the basic problems and core spirit of design through objective appearances, which can bring readers depth of thought, and also make a summary of my 30 years of design experience.
