The ink of color printing carton products is dry and slow, which simply causes the printed matter to be damaged and brings some difficulties to post-processing. We think we can deal with this problem from the following three aspects:

1. Properly extend the interval time of post-processing or spread the printed matter to dry.

2. Change to base paper with stronger ink absorption function: for example, coated white board has stronger absorption function than bleached white board.

3. Choosing fast drying ink may add appropriate drying additives according to the characteristics of the ink, and reduce the amount of ink applied at the inking position.

The ink printing part of the product is sticky or broken. This problem is caused by the different raw materials, paper structures and production processes of whiteboard, coated paper and offset paper, especially in winter. Because the temperature is low and the ink viscosity is high, the ink printing part of the wall layer or coating layer of whiteboard is often sticky or broken, which seriously affects the appearance quality of printed products. To solve this problem, Shenyang Tongsheng Carton Factory has given the following treatment methods:

1. Choose white board paper with strong fuzziness, and the printing pressure should not be too high.

2. The backing paper under the blanket shall not be too much, and the cushion shall not be soft. After using the blanket for a period of time, clean it with detergent.

3. Wetting powder and alcohol (5%~20%) can be added to the fountain solution to reduce the tension on the edge of the inking area, or according to different types of inks, the corresponding ink adjusting oil, viscosity remover or reducing agent can be selected to reduce the viscosity of the ink.

4. The printing workshop and room temperature shall be controlled at 19 ℃~28 ℃. In winter, the ink shall be heated properly to improve the fluidity of the ink and reduce the viscosity of the ink.
